Geotextile tubes
Geotextile tubes are huge bags made up of our high strength woven Geotextile. These are used for erosion control works and construction of structures in river and marine environments. Large armor stone structures are very expensive to build in the marine environment; also the availability of good stones in the vicinity of site is also not always there. In many instances, these structures can easily be constructed using a sand-filled Geotextile tube and Geotextile bags. When combined with a dredging project, the tube can provide a beneficial use of the dredged material while reducing the erosive forces of wave impact at a fraction of the cost.

Apart from above the Geotextile tubes are also used for the island creation, land reclamations and dewatering of industrial sludge.

Geotextile bags
The Geotextile bags are comparatively small in size and used for erosion control as well as construction of small breakwaters and bunds. Geotextile bags are a very economical as compared to other options and also have an advantage of speedy construction and easy construction methodology. Geotextile bags are made up of Garware high strength woven Geotextile that are UV resistant
 
 
Sand Mattress
The Sand mattresses are flat mattresses made up of GWRL high strength Woven Geotextile, which are filled with sand. GWRL has specially developed these mattresses for few projects. The sand mattresses avoid the erosion of bed and banks of the rivers. They can also be laid below the Polymer rope Gabions for avoiding the washing of fines and to reduce the velocity of water to below scour velocity.

They are very easy to install and can be installed in flowing waters mechanically.
